Job Description:

  • Jovie of Greater Philadelphia (including Delaware) is now hiring part-time, full-time, and seasonal caregivers. We provide a variety of flexible scheduling options. You create your own schedule! We are looking for creative, energetic, and responsible individuals who truly enjoy spending time with children. Make a difference in a child’s life, do work that matters, build a resume, and make connections–apply today to join our amazing team.

    Here are example schedules that are lucrative for our caregivers:

    M-F 8AM-6PM, 7AM-7PM, 5AM-2PM, or 12PM-Midnight (This can be two or more weekdays.)


    Pay Range:
    We pay $16 - $18/hour with incentives and bonuses.

    The day to day:
    • Make sure kids are safe
    • Nannies who are thoughtful and measured, stays calm with the kids
    • Proactive and creative, ask questions that need to be asked and then take action
    • Not on your phone–only use in case of emergency
    • Give kids equal attention and time- can connect with both
    • Have an agenda for the day–plenty of activities planned
    • Clean up after daily activities/meals
    • Help the children complete their daily chores


    Qualifications:
    • Patience and communication skills to successfully interact with the children, understand their needs, and help them be receptive to your requests
    • Problem-solving skills to be able to successfully deal with everyday issues that inevitably occur

    • Loving, enthusiastic, and full of energy 
    • At least 2 years of childcare experience is necessary (paid or unpaid)
    • High School Degree or GED
    • Access to a safe and reliable vehicle for transportation
    • Driver's license 
    • CPR certified or willing

Job Description:

  • Do you love working with children and have a passion for early childhood education?

    We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to join our team! In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers across multiple classrooms, working with children ranging from 6 months to 6 years old.

    What you'll do:

    • Assist teachers in various classrooms with daily tasks and activities.
    • Provide individualized attention and support to students.
    • Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
    • Cover for teachers during breaks and lunch periods.
    • Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.



    You're a great fit if you:
    • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
    • Enjoy collaborating with teachers and other staff members.
    • Are patient, energetic, and have a genuine love for children.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Requirements:

    • Must have a physical exam within the past year or be able to obtain one within 2 weeks of hire.

    • Up-to-date immunizations, including TB screening
