My name is Alyssa and I am the Family Placement Manager at Jovie of Cary. A graduate of NC State University (GO PACK!) I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in science. Prior to joining the Jovie team, I worked as a public elementary school teacher, private infant teacher and as a 1 on 1 habilitation technician for the developmentally disabled. I am the oldest grandbaby on both sides of my family so my childhood was spent helping to raise and take care of my cousins. I knew from a young age that I wanted to find a job where I could work, interact and have an impact on children's lives. I have spent the majority of my professional life working directly with children and I enjoy creating relationships and building stronger families with Jovie!
