I was born in Connecticut, raised in New York, and married in New Orleans. Raising our two girls in midtown Manhattan, I enjoyed volunteering as a tutor in the NYC Public schools and was both an elected officer of the Parents Association and the neighborhood safety liaison for the small magnet school the girls attended. While my wife and I loved the convenience of walking to work in midtown Manhattan, our two girls kept getting bigger and the apartment seemed to get smaller. We moved to the lower Hudson Valley to enjoy the peace and beauty the area offers. There we experienced the anxiety of finding reliable quality childcare in an area where we had no network to rely on. Looking for alternatives to the daily commute I saw an opportunity to fill a need and joined the Jovie family.

My journey with Jovie began in 2017 when my father, Bill, and I embarked on this incredible adventure together. Prior to Jovie, I was working in retail management, but after having my first son I found myself craving a more meaningful career that would allow me to make a positive impact on my community. As a working mom myself, I understand firsthand the delicate balancing act of working full-time while raising a family. This personal experience fuels our commitment at Jovie to alleviate the stress and uncertainty surrounding childcare for families like yours and mine. At Jovie, we're dedicated to our mission of Building Stronger Families.
