Nannies build long-term relationships with your children and often help with meal prep, light housework, and activities. A babysitter, on the other hand, provides on-demand or occasional care for date nights, appointments, or backup situations. Both are fully vetted and employed by Jovie as W-2 employees.
Every Jovie nanny undergoes a rigorous screening process that includes a national background check, sex-offender registry search, reference verification, and an in-person interview. All nannies are CPR and First Aid certified. Our local Portland team personally meets each caregiver before they're placed with a family.
